J. Franklin Long, a Southern West Virginia attorney with an offi ce in Bluefi eld, and his wife Vernon C. Long established this permanent endowment to generate income for the J. Franklin Long and Vernon C. Long Scholarship. Awards will be made through the United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia.
