​Henry Herring Memorial Scholarship Fund

Phoebe Bledsoe Tieche Herring, an original incorporator of BAF, established this fund as a memorial to her husband, Hank Herring. A 1938 graduate of WWHS, he moved to Los Angeles where he cofounded Vacuum Atmospheres Co. He retired and returned to Beckley in 1998 and became an active supporter of our community before his death. This fund will provide scholarships for WWHS graduates.
