Frederick W. and Mildred P. Sawyers Scholarship

Mildred Sawyers established this fund to provide an annual college scholarship to a Summers County HS graduating senior. The fund serves as a memorial to her husband Frederick Sawyers, an attorney, businessman, and civic leader in Hinton, WV. Mildred died in 2008 and a number of donations were received in her memory.

• Summers Co. High School graduating senior.
• Based upon financial need, scholastic achievement and extra curricular activities.
• Scholarship may be for tuition, books, and room and board.
