​Evelyn L. Smith Scholarship Fund

Established by her husband of 54 years, Mancel Smith, now deceased and her daughter Cathy E. Smith, this endowment will provide scholarships for graduates of Shady Spring High School who are pursuing a degree in business or creative arts at WVU. Evelyn grew up in Fairmont, WV, and graduated from Fairmont Senior HS and Fairmont Business College.

• Shady Spring High School graduate.
• Pursuing a degree in business or creative arts at West Virginia University.

Renewable: Yes; must re-apply annually and maintain a B average.
