​Doris Merchant Bradshaw and Virgil Bradshaw Scholarship Fund

Mrs. Doris Merchant Bradshaw, now deceased, attended Concord College and worked for many years in the Raleigh County Headstart Program. Her interest in early childhood education motivated Virgil to honor his wife in this fashion. The recipients of this scholarship must be a graduate of a Raleigh County High School attending a West Virginia college or university pursing a degree in early childhood education.

Eligibility:

• Raleigh County high school graduate attending a West Virginia college or university pursuing a degree in early childhood education.
• Awarded based upon both need and merit

Renewable: Yes; must re-apply annual and maintain a B average while classified as a full-time student.
