Concord University Beckley Area Scholarship Fund

Supporters of this state school in Athens, WV, set up an endowment fund “to provide scholarship aid to capable students from the Beckley area who wish to attend Concord.” Mary Lou Dickenson, Skip Powell of Powell Industries, Inc., and First Community Bank made significant gifts to this fund in 2002.
