Albert M. Tieche Memorial Fund

Donations from City National Bank, his wife Phoebe Bledsoe Tieche Herring, his children and grandchildren and other family members and friends were used to establish this memorial fund. Mr. Tieche was a board president of the Bank of Raleigh and administrator of Beckley Hospital. This fund formerly provided income for MSU to award to a West Virginia student and now benefits University of Charleston-Beckley.

-provides scholarship for a West Virginia student, preferably Raleigh County, attending University of Charleston-Beckley

• qualifying student must show financial need and reasonable academic attainment.
• renewable based on financial need and reasonable academic attainment. Student must re-apply annually.

Apply: No application submission is required. Every new UC Beckley student will be reviewed for consideration for this BAF scholarship, according to the specific criteria and level of financial need.
