Overview

Established in 2014, the Gill Family Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship is intended to assist students from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.

  • The scholarship is valued at $4,000, to be paid in one lump sum
  • There is one scholarship available
  • Discounted accommodation offer, of up to $20 per week or $1400 per annum, (subject to availability, see more details on the Discounted accommodation offer at ACU Living and Learning Communities)

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all of the following criteria:

  • Commenced current ACU course in Semester 2, 2022 or prior
  • Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students (Confirmation of Aboriginality or Torres Strait Islander status will be required).
  • Campus: Melbourne or Ballarat
  • Course: any ACU undergraduate degree
  • Year Level: second year or above (in semester 1, 2023)
  • Financial hardship
