Overview
Established in 2007 by the George Alexander Foundation (GAF), founded by the late industrialist and philanthropist George Alexander AM, for the purpose of assisting outstanding students, especially those demonstrating exceptional leadership potential and community participation, particularly those from rural and regional communities, to achieve their undergraduate educational goals at the Ballarat Campus or any other campuses in NSW.

- The scholarship is valued at $24,000, to be paid instalments of $4,000 per semester for students in a three-year course and $3,000 per semester for students in a four-year course.
- There are ten scholarships available (five for the Ballarat campus; and five for other campuses in NSW)

Eligibility
This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all of the following criteria:
- Commencing a new ACU course in Semester 1, 2023
- Citizenship: domestic
- Course: any ACU undergraduate degree
- Have not previously commenced a degree at undergraduate level or higher
- Study load: full-time
- Campus: Ballarat, Blacktown, North Sydney or Strathfield
- Minimum ATAR: attained a minimum ATAR ranking of 75 or equivalent (non-recent school leavers are welcome to apply but must display evidence of academic merit)
