About this scholarship
The Council of Catholic School Parents (CCSP) is the peak body representing the interests of Catholic school parents in NSW/ACT and is the largest non-government school parent body in NSW. Established in 2016, the scholarship is awarded to students undertaking an Education course and who demonstrate interest in parental engagement within Catholic schools.
Value The scholarship is valued at $5,000, to be paid in one lump sum. There is one scholarship available.
Student type Current Students
Eligibility Applications are open to current those who meet all the following criteria:
- Citizenship: domestic
- Faculty: Education and Arts
- Course: any ACU Education degree
- Campus: North Sydney, Strathfield or Blacktown
- Year level: final year of course in 2024
- Study load: full-time
Selection criteria Applications are assessed based on the strength of the following criteria:
- Written statement
- Academic merit (based on your current ACU GPA)
Preference will be given to applicants who currently live, or have previously lived in a regional, rural or remote area of NSW.
Selection process The recipient will be selected by the Scholarships Office.
