Nano Nagle Scholarship
Aurora Education Foundation
Established by the Presentation Sisters, Queensland Congregation, to commemorate and honour the work of their founder Nano Nagle. The specific goal of these scholarships is to encourage the development of leadership skills of emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders through professional preparation during their studies.

- The scholarship is valued at $4000, to be paid in one lump sum.

Application process Please provide the following as part of the application:
A written statement of approximately 300 words outlining:
why you have chosen to undertake your degree, and what you hope to achieve with it in the future.
how you engage with the Indigenous community and how this reflects ACU's mission and values.
how obtaining your degree will allow you to give back to the Indigenous community.

This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all of the following criteria:
- Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students (Confirmation of Aboriginality will be required)
- Course: any ACU degree
- Campus: Brisbane
- Ongoing contribution to, and/or leadership in, community service and support of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- Preference to students pursuing studies in Education or Nursing disciplines
