Indigenous Australian Graduate Coursework Scholarship

Each year ANU normally offers one scholarship to an Indigenous Australian to undertake graduate study.

VALUE $ 34,000 per annum Payments made fortnightly Payments made for 3 years

How to Apply No separate application is required. Applicants who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander will be automatically considered for this scholarship during their application for admission.

Before lodging an application, applicants applying for admission to a coursework program should first check the closing date of the program, as the closing date for some coursework programs may be earlier than the scholarship closing date.

Applicants for a research program are strongly encouraged to contact the relevant Graduate Studies Convener or a prospective supervisor, prior to lodging an application, to discuss the proposed research topic and related matters.

• Australian Citizens identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander;
• Applicants for a research scholarship must hold a Bachelors degree with at least upper second-class honours, or equivalent prior studies including some research work
• Applicants for a coursework scholarship must hold at least a Bachelors degree
