Overview

This scholarship encourages an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student to continue their studies in an undergraduate degree hosted by the Griffith Business School. As an additional benefit, KPMG may provide the opportunity for the recipient to undertake a work experience or vacation placement at KPMG.

Value The scholarship is valued at $11,000 per annum, full-time study 40CP, payable in instalments of $5,500 in Trimester 1 and Trimester 2, for a maximum of three years or minimum duration remaining of the degree for which the scholarship was awarded, whichever is the lesser.

As an additional benefit, KPMG may provide the opportunity for the recipient to undertake a work experience or vacation placement at KPMG.

Scholarship recipients will be invited to participate in events hosted by KPMG/Griffith to promote the Reconciliation Action Plans and participate in the Indigenous Business Network.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • be an Australian citizen
  • be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander*
  • be enrolled at Griffith University in an undergraduate degree hosted by the Griffith Business School
  • have completed at least 80CP with the Griffith Business School
  • be enrolled full-time
  • have a minimum GPA of 4.0.

*Confirmation of Heritage may be required (a letter of confirmation is usually obtained from an incorporated Indigenous organisation and stamped with their Common Seal).
