Overview

The scholarship has been established to encourage Indigenous students to undertake any undergraduate studies at Swinburne University.

Areas of study: Any Area of Study At Institution: Swinburne University of Technology Study level: Undergraduate Study Load: Full Time Location: VIC

The scholarship is valued at $7,500 per year for the normal duration of the course, for a maximum period of up to five years.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be an Australian citizen and recognised as an Indigenous Australian;
  • Be a commencing student studying full-time at Swinburne in an undergraduate degree in the year the scholarship is awarded;
  • Provide evidence of achieved ATAR of 60; successful completion of VCE or equivalent; or post secondary study;
  • Provide a written statement of 500 words outlining career aspirations. Specifically, please comment on how your cultural background or culture has influenced you, or may benefit your studies; why you’ve chosen your particular area of study; your career aspirations; and how this scholarship will support you in your studies.
  • For Film and TV courses, the following alternative entry requirements apply: a) submit a portfolio of creative work b) provide academic transcript of previous studies.
