Dixon-Ward Indigenous Scholarship for Gold and Silversmithing

This scholarship is for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students undertaking the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) or Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) (Honours) with their artistic practice in gold or silversmithing.
This scholarship provides $7,000 per annum, ($3,500 per semester) for up to three years.

How to Apply Alongside your completed application form, you must confirm your Indigenous eligibility with Ngarara Willim Centre and need a selection of 5 examples of your own original artistic work in Gold and Silversmithing uploaded as part of your application (.jpeg, mkv, mp3/mp4).
The main application questions include:
- what motivated you to choose your RMIT program? Include the steps you have taken to achieve your educational goals;
- why have you chosen gold and silversmithing as your artistic practice?
- describe the artistic merit evident in your work
- what current challenges do you face in your studies and how long will a scholarship help you to overcome this?
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian citizen;
- identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
- register with RMIT Ngarara Willim Centre and provide documentation confirming that you are an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
- be enrolling full-time in the applicable semester in either: Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) or Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) (Honours);
- have your artistic practice in gold and silversmithing.
