The Amy Levai Aboriginal Teaching Scholarship – pre-service supports Aboriginal pre-service teacher education students to complete a teaching qualification and gain employment as a teacher in public education.

Scholarship conditions and payments Scholarship payments are made per semester, based on the submission of successful results, paid into a nominated bank account and can be used at the discretion of the recipient. Payments may be subject to tax. It is the responsibility of recipients to seek independent and personal tax advice.

Scholarship conditions include entering into a contractual agreement with the department.

Scholarships are subject to available funds.
