Established in 2013, the ACU Law – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Equity Scholarship is intended to assist students from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.

How to Apply Applicants are required to provide the following as part of the application: A written statement of approximately 500 words outlining:
- why you have chosen to undertake your degree,
- what you hope to achieve through your degree and how it will change your future,
- any hardships or barriers you have faced in accessing higher education. Evidence of financial hardship:
- most recent Tax Assessment Notice OR Centrelink Income Statement OR the most recent 60 days of bank transactions AND pay slips from the last 6 weeks. Two letters of recommendation, these can be from any of the following:
- Community engagement leader, Personal, Professional or religious leader.
Upload Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status.
Eligibility
This scholarship is open to current students who meet all of the following criteria:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people;
- Have not previously received the ACU Law – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Equity Scholarship.
