Description of the Award
Indigenous Award in Heritage Resources Management is intended to encourage Indigenous AU students or individuals of Indigenous ancestry to register in a Heritage Resources Management (HERM) course and explore the related HERM programs for future consideration.
• Indigenous ancestry (First Nations, Metis, Inuit) as defined by the applicant’s Indigenous nation (proof must be submitted). Refer to Section D on page 3 • Preference given to an AU student who has successfully completed one AU course previously, as a graduate, undergraduate or non-program student • Must be Canadian Citizen • Students eligible to receive this award one time only
Selection Criteria
• Evaluation of short essay (500 words) response to be reviewed by an internal selection committee.
