AU Graduate Student Scholarship

Description of the Award

Awarded to an Athabasca University (AU) graduate program student. Applicants cannot have received tuition subsidies or reimbursements from their employer(s) in order to be considered eligible. Recipients must have a cumulative graduate program AU GPA of 3.60 or greater. Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated the ability to balance full time employment and family and community roles, with a significant course load (9 AU graduate-level credits per year, or more) and record of academic achievement. Students are eligible to receive this award only once. Students of doctoral programs are not eligible.

Conditions of Eligibility

An applicant must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this award: • Active AU graduate program student • Cumulative graduate program AU GPA of 3.60 or higher • Completion of at least 9 AU graduate-level program credits per year • Cannot have received tuition subsidies or reimbursements from employer(s) • Not enrolled in a doctoral program • Student has not previously received this award
