Braden Q. Bruington Basalt High
Aspen Community Foundation
This scholarship was established in memory of Braden Bruington, a graduate of Basalt High School in 2002, who passed away at the age of 33. With the aid of a scholarship, Braden went on to earn a BA from Syracuse University, Newhouse School of Public Communication, later putting himself through the University of Wisconsin MBA program, all towards a career in technology, business and marketing consulting. Braden was generous in many ways with his time and monies: Braden always wanted and was there to help others with all he had learned. Braden was a beloved son of George and Valerie Bruington, loving husband to Bree Bruington and father of Arden Bruington. Always concerned about the world we live in, we wish to honor Braden’s endeavors to support other’s innovative ideas, efforts and such entrepreneurial aims to improve the world around all and offer a $2,000.00 scholarship to a Basalt High School graduate
