Overview

The South Asian Studies Council is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of awards for qualified undergraduate, graduate and professional students for intensive language study at approved programs in South Asia, or in the United States.

The award may be used for transportation, tuition, room and board, and incidentals. Language study must bear a clear relationship to the applicant's overall course of study. Preference is given first to students planning study for a full academic year, then term-time projects, and then summer studies.

Grants are administered by the South Asian Studies Council at the MacMillan Center.
