Fulbright Grants for Graduating Seniors
Yale University
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for one academic year of formal study, English Teaching Assistantships, or research or fine arts projects in a participating country outside the U.S. Applications may be made for one country only, and only for one type of grant.
You should complete this application if you wish to participate in the Yale College campus process for the Fulbright U.S. Student Grants.
There are two types of Fulbright U.S. Student Grants: Study/Research awards and English Teaching Assistantships. Applications may be made for one country only, and only for one type of grant.
The deadlines shown here pertain to Yale College seniors who wish to participate in Yale College's campus process for Fulbright. The campus process includes an conversation with a member of Yale's Fulbright committee in order to provide IIE/Fulbright with a Campus Committee Evaluation form, outlining impressions of the student and their application. It can also be an opportunity for the applicant to receive feedback on their Fulbright materials prior to submitting those materials by the national deadline.
Yale College seniors are strongly encouraged to participate in the campus review process. Yale College alums do not participate in the campus review process and must apply to Fulbright by the national deadline. Both graduating seniors and alums should list Yale as their home institution on the "Award Information" section of the Fulbright application regardless of whether they participate in the campus process.
