Overview

The U.S. Consulate General Hyderabad of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a project that brings together Indian and international experts for virtual and in-person consultations, the objective of which will be to define cyber-enabled human trafficking (CEHT) and understand the issue of cyber-enabled human trafficking (CEHT) as observed in select Asian countries. Using knowledge gained from these virtual consultations, the applicant will develop a draft National Plan of Action for India to counter CEHT, with the involvement of multiple stakeholders from various parts of the country (including trafficking survivors, NGO leaders, cyber experts, lawyers, law-enforcement officers, and local government officials) that can be put before the appropriate government in the following year to be adopted as a national plan of action.
