Overview

The proposal should enhance coordination among U.S. Public Diplomacy program alumni, empowering them to unite their efforts and play an active role in the social, economic, and civic life of Afghans inside of Afghanistan and within Afghan diaspora and refugee communities. This may be accomplished through virtual and regional conferences, mentorship, networking, training and educational opportunities, alumni-led activities, small grants program for activities designed and implemented by Alumni in Afghanistan and within the diaspora communities. This should occur through the management of a strategic schedule of initiatives. PDS intends to issue an award for a period of at least 24 months.
