Overview

The Margaret E Pank First Year Nursing Grant has been established through a gift from the Pank family. The grant will be offered to commencing students enrolled full time in the first year of the Bachelor of Nursing program (IBNU), and will enable the recipients to fund a Senior First Aid Course and purchase appropriate professional attire (uniform and shoes) and text books.

Applicants must reside in South Australia and be Australian citizens or permanent residents. They must also provide evidence of financial disadvantage and a written statement (max. 500 words) with their application outlining their career goals and future plans and how the grant will help them achieve their ambitions. Details of financial disadvantage should also be included in the written statement.

The grant will be awarded on the basis of financial hardship, academic merit (ATAR), a written statement, and an interview.

Students in receipt of another Pank family scholarship, grant or prize are not eligible to apply for this grant.
