Bob Mierisch Memorial Grant in Civil and Structural Engineering

The Bob Mierisch Memorial Grant in Civil and Structural Engineering has been established by Mrs Judy Mierisch in memory of her late husband‚ Bob‚ who was a well respected civil engineer and construction leader. Bob Mierisch headed Baulderstone Hornibrook for nearly 30 years. He was awarded an AM in 1994 for service to the building and construction industry and to the community and he received a Centenary Medal in 2001 for service to Australian society in the technological industry.
The grant will be awarded to the student‚ who is studying full-time in the final year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil and Structural) program‚ who demonstrates professional behaviour and achieves the highest aggregate grade for their penultimate year as confirmed by the Program Director.
How to apply: Grant will be offered in 2023 - selection will be done by UniSA STEM
Value: $4‚000 to be paid in two instalments‚ first after Study Period 2 census date and second after study period 5 census date‚ and as approved by the Program Director.
