Who We Help and what to expect:

TTG helps anyone who has spent 3 years out of the past 5 years working in a relevant Backstage or Front of House position, with theatre being their principal career.

That includes any kind of stage technician or engineer, stage managers, stagehands and flymen – anyone involved in costume, hair or makeup – directors, designers – makers of sets, props or puppets – as well as, ushers or box office or bar staff. Whatever your age, background, or circumstances, we’re happy to hear from you.

If in doubt, drop us a line anyway – and if you’re not eligible for TTG support, we’ll signpost you to another charitable organisation that can help.

Once you’ve made contact, Amanda, our General Manager, will be in touch within a few days to arrange an personal interview, where she’ll chat to you about your circumstances and go through the application process together.

Once you’ve told us about your situation, we’ll do everything we can to get you the help you need.
