About Beatrice Lillie Beatrice Lillie (29 May 1894 - 20 January 1989) was a Canadian-born British actress, singer and comedic performer, who was associated with the works of Noël Coward and Cole Porter. Central was a beneficiary of the closure of the Beatrice Lillie International College of Comedy and Musical Theatre, which has made possible scholarships, research studentships and improvements to the campus.
