Overview

The monetary awards are split into four categories: Cromar, Alastrean, Douneside and Lady MacRobert. Each one has its own specific governance arrangements and internal processes.

Cromar Awards: *Cromar awards are those that are of a total monetary value up to £1,000. *Applications for this type of award will be reviewed every month. *Applicants will be informed of the outcome on completion of the review process. *Applications can be made at any time and will be considered at the next review.

Cromar awards up to £1,000 are reviewed on a monthly basis. Applications should be submitted on the portal before the 21st day of each month. The outcome will be advised by email during the first week of the following month.

The MacRobert Trust has recently updated their Charitable Giving Themes. These Themes define the scope of the Trust’s charitable work: Theme 1: Armed Forces & Good Citizenship. Theme 2: Education & Professional Excellence. Theme 3: Local Community & Other MacRobert Interests . The MacRobert Directors reserve the right to make changes to the Themes at any time.

Eligibility

Applications are welcome from registered charities from across the United Kingdom. Organisations must be recognised as charitable by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR), the Charity Commission for England and Wales or the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
