Be Active Wales Fund
Sport Wales
We are the national organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity in Wales. We distribute funding to community clubs, volunteers, and athletes. Our grants team can support you with information, while local authorities can provide advice on grant applications.
The Be Active Wales Fund aims to protect and progress community sport clubs and organisations in Wales through the Covid-19 pandemic and into the future. The fund has already helped many clubs and organisations across Wales face the challenges caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. It will continue to provide funding to help clubs tackle these challenges, and to ensure sustainability for years to come. The £4 million fund has been made possible through money Sport Wales receives from Welsh Government and the National Lottery.
