GRANTS TO COMMUNITY GROUPS & LOCAL CHARITIES

Southwark Charities makes grants to local community organisations and charities who support Southwark older people. In addition, we make discretionary payments to individuals who meet the criteria, and they also become eligible to participate in the activities, outings, holidays and events.

Southwark Charities makes grants to a range of local community groups and charities who are working with older people aged 55 and above residing in Southwark. Organisations such as the Blackfriars Settlement, People Care, Southwark Explorers Club, Walworth Golden Oldies, Age UK Lewisham & Southwark, the Goodrich Club, the Friday Club, and several Tenants & Residents Associations have all received grants to promote the social and community wellbeing of the older citizens of Southwark.
