The purpose of this Notice is to inform the biomedical research community that NIGMS is planning to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to continue the�Maximizing Investigators� Research Award for Early Stage Investigators (MIRA-ESI) (R35) program. The FOA is intended for new applications from�Early Stage Investigators. This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop responsive projects.The FOA is expected to be published in Spring 2023 with an expected first application due date in October 2023. This FOA will utilize the R35 activity code.
