Overview

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) invites U.S. institutions to submit applications to participate in the Global Network for Womens and Childrens Health Researchs Data Coordinating Center. The Data Coordinating Center will work with Research Units of U.S.-based research centers partnering with institutions in low-income countries to conduct multi-center observational studies and randomized clinical trials evaluating disease process, health and wellness outcomes, and results from interventions in resource-poor settings to address the major causes of maternal, neonatal, infant, and early childhood morbidity and mortality. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for a Global Network Data Coordinating Center; a separate FOA invites applications for Global Network Research Units.
