Developing Measures to Advance Access and Quality in Global Mental Health Services (R34 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

This initiative aims to address the gaps in our knowledge about the data, barriers, facilitators, and strategies to advance universal mental health coverage in LMICs. As NIMH continues to support the development, adaptation, and testing of interventions across the globe, it is vital to expand the knowledge-based to inform the adoption and scaling of these evidence-based interventions. This FoA supports innovative experimental and non-experimental research to improve the understanding of critical supply- and demand-side elements needed to augment the access and utilization of mental health services in these settings.
Other Eligible Applicants include the following: Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions; Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISISs); Eligible Agencies of the Federal Government; Faith-based or Community-based Organizations; Hispanic-serving Institutions; Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Other than Federally Recognized); Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Organizations); Regional Organizations; Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs) ; U.S. Territory or Possession.
