Comparative Research on Determinants of Differences Among Human and Nonhuman Primate Species in Life Spans, Life Histories, and Other Aging-Related …
National Institutes of Health
The goal of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to invite R01 applications proposing comparative studies of human and nonhuman primate species with differing life spans to identify factors whose cross-species variation may contribute to differences in species life span and health span. Foci of such studies may include (but are not limited to) factors contributing to humans greater life span compared to other primates. Studies that involve primary in vivo or in vitro data generation and/or analyses of existing data or biospecimens are encouraged.
