Youth Actively Create Opportunities (YACO)

The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Regional Office of Acquisition and Assistance, is seeking input from interested organizations and individuals who may provide comments, opinions and recommendations in response to the questions outlined in this Request for Information (RFI) announcement.

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a promise to issue a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) in the future. Responses to this RFI are not applications and cannot be accepted by USAID to form a binding award; only the information requested in this RFI will be reviewed. Further, USAID is not seeking applications and will not accept unsolicited applications. Respondents are advised that USAID will not be responsible for any costs incurred in response to this RFI.

The YACO activity will be based on the idea that there is no greater resource than youth power to achieve the Country Development and Cooperation Strategy Goal “USAID Partnerships Promote a Prosperous, Well-Governed, and Resilient North Macedonia Committed to Euro-Atlantic Integration.” USAID/North Macedonia knows that working with youth is a strategic imperative, that youth are the NOW, not the future, and that to solve the issues impacting the country, power will

need to shift into the hands and hearts of young people.
