Flow Grant
Koda Kultur
The purpose of the grant is to give composers and songwriters a chance to seek out new possibilities and to grow through new qualifications and abilities. A great deal of the opportunities offered to artists arise spontaneously, and the flexibility and swiftness of this grant helps grab the opportunities. The grant is about maintaining a flow. If you’re interrupted due to lack of funds, this is where you should apply. We keep it simple, and we will get back to you swiftly.
This grant supports showcases, travel expenses in connection to songwriting sessions, composer jobs/task and the education og songwriters and composers (workshops, courses etc.)
You cannot receive support for the same project from several pools under Koda Culture. This applies according to 6.D in our regulation. Find the regulation here.
This means that if you for example apply for publication, you can only receive support once for your publishing project. You cannot receive support for publication from both The Publishing pool, The Up-and-Coming Grant and The Recording/Release Grant at the same time. On the other hand, you will be able to receive support for other processes of the same project from other pools. For example, if you have received support for the recording/release part of your project, you can apply for support for the next phase of your project, e.g. for promoting your release or from the PR pools.
We have pools that support the different processes that your project can go through. The processes can – from an overall point of view – be divided into:
- Create (idea, clarification, writing)
- Improve/develop (coaching, camps, education)
- Release (record, mix, master)
- Disseminate' (PR/marketing, concert production, fairs and exhibitions)
Songwriters and composers in all genres. Please note: All applicants have to be Koda members. You cannot apply as a record label, manager, business etc.
What to include in your application:
- Brief description (500 characters)
- Music files (not mandatory)
- Budget for the activity (not mandatory)
You can apply all year, except for July and between 13 december 2021 og den 6. januar 2022
