HeadStart Kent community resilience toolkit grant

The community resilience toolkit grant is awarded by HeadStart Kent, who are funded by the National Lottery Community Fund to support the emotional wellbeing and resilience of young people aged 10 to 16.
The grant is designed to support community organisations develop their whole-setting approach to emotional wellbeing and resilience. This includes young people, their parents or carers, staff and volunteers.
Community organisations can apply for a grant of up to £1,000.
Community organisations completing the Kent Community Toolkit can apply for up to £500 to help provide support as part of their plan to develop a whole-setting approach to emotional wellbeing.
This could include:
- furniture and equipment for a safe space (indoor or outdoor)
- funding towards peer mentoring training
- activities for young people.
Community organisations who apply need to have completed the 'Assess' and 'Plan' stages of the Kent Community Toolkit Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing Record.

This grant is only available to community organisations who have not previously received a grant from HeadStart Kent (excluding Pay It Forward and Talents and Interests grants for young people).
