The José Carreras Leukemia Foundation has been making a significant contribution to research into leukemia and related hemato-oncological diseases for over 25 years with almost 1,400 project measures. For this purpose, 3 grants for young scientists with a funding focus on experimental or clinical research will be awardedadvertised. The scholarships are intended for physicians and natural scientists who already have experience in haematological, cell biological, immunological or psycho-oncological research work, work at a scientific institution in Germany and are no older than 35 years. A funding amount of EUR 41,400 pa is planned for the scholarship. In the case of funding, one year is initially granted; upon application and after evaluation, a maximum of two extensions of one year each can be granted.

Applications for the José Carreras Research Fellowship are open until March 31 of each year .
