Jobber Grants

Jobber Grants is a $150,000 grant program built to recognize excellence in small home service businesses across the U.S. and Canada. Home service businesses keep our homes and offices safe and running smoothly, help hardworking people build meaningful careers, and give back to their communities, and we want to spotlight the impact of their work.

25 grants for every type of home service professional From home service heroes and career builders, to the smooth operators and community caretakers, they’re all invited to apply for grants ranging from $2,500 to $15,000, whether they’re just starting out or they’re an experienced business owner.

In August 2023, we’ll award 25 small home service businesses with grants totaling $150,000. Home service professionals take pride in the work they do, and we want to recognize their accomplishments and accelerate their plans for the future.

• Home Service Heroes - Business owners who keep our homes and offices safe and running smoothly.

• Career Builders - Business owners who help hardworking people build meaningful careers.

• Smooth Operators - Business owners run a smooth business for themselves and their customers.

• Community Caretakers - Business owners who give back to the communities where they live and work.

An easy application process for home service pros Applications for phase 1 are open until June 8, 2023. All applicants that meet our criteria will then receive an invitation by email to continue to phase 2, to answer a few more in-depth questions. How you use the grant is up to you!

Applicants have the freedom to choose how to use the grant to support their business goals. They can use the funds to help launch, grow, or strengthen their business. From new equipment, to marketing dollars, to launching a new service, or team training—they’ve got big plans and we want to help them make them happen!

2. 5 minute application: Tell Jobber about your business and the great work you do.
3. Applications close on June 8: Recipients will be announced on Jobber’s social channels in August 2023.

Program timeline:

• March 1 - June 8: Phase 1 applications - Take 5 minutes to fill out an application. Tell us about your business and the great work you do.

• June 14 - June 22 - Phase 2 applications - All eligible applicants will be invited to fill out a phase 2 application so we can better understand your business plans, leadership style, and community impact.

• June 23 - July 14 - Our judging panel will review applications and look at your online presence to get to know more about you and your top-notch service.

• Mid July - Finalists will be contacted to complete a final round of questions.

• August - We'll announce our 25 grant recipients and spotlight their stories to share with our community.

Any home service business owner or aspiring business owner 18 years old or older, residing in the U.S. and Canada, excluding Québec.

Home service businesses provide a one-time or recurring install, repair, maintenance, or mobile services to clients at residential or commercial properties. A non-exhaustive list of examples includes: landscaping, residential and commercial cleaning, contracting, painting, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and mobile car detailing.

Home-based or retail businesses that primarily sell or provide goods and services online, from home, or from brick-and-mortar locations are not eligible.
