MUSIC EDUCATION PROJECTS ABROAD

We fund and develop music education projects and training programmes for music teachers, choirmasters, instrumentalists and composers in a partnership-based exchange with artists and institutions in host countries.

Whom we fund:

German-based professional musicians eager to share their knowledge and experience abroad

What we fund:

We provide funding for educational projects to improve music skills abroad. As a rule, we do not fund these projects in full, but cover only some of the travel expenses.

Benefit projects (fundraisers), projects within the framework of political educational work, travel for tourist purposes or family visits, folklore events, and projects organized by commercial promoters or with party-political, religious or ideological content are not eligible for funding.

Funding criteria:

• German-based professional musicians with proven teaching and workshop experience
• Invitation from an independent collaborator in the host country
• Artistic exchange must be the focus of the project.
• Educational/outreach approach suited to the target group
