Garden Improvements

Having outside space, and somewhere safe to spend quality time with your family, can be important. To help with these things we can sometimes consider a grant contribution towards garden improvements.

We primarily provide garden grants for safety needs i.e. fencing

When completing your application form it can help us reach a decision if we have the following information:

• What garden improvements do you require
• A few quotes for the improvements
• How the garden improvements will meet your child’s extra care needs

Then, once your application has been assessed we may need to write to you for more information.

We cannot assist with garden improvements if:

• Work should be provided by statutory provision, for example access ramps or lowered curbs.
• Permission has been refused by your council or housing association
• You live in private rented accommodation Our grants are a contribution and cannot guarantee to cover the full cost.
