Games consoles

If your family would benefit from a games console, we may be able to help.

We work with Park to provide our Games Console grant. The grant can be used in the following stores; Argos, Curry/PC World and online via Amazon.

How to use your grant

Your Park card will be sent to you separately from your grant award letter and only the main carer may use the card. You must activate your card before use.

• Please make sure you have your pin number before you call 0844 7709 015 and follow the instructions given. The activation service is available 24hrs a day 365 days a year.
• Select option one on your telephone keypad as the card user, and then option one again to activate the card.
• Enter the 19 digit card number, this can be found on the front of your card.
• Enter your activation code; this is the four digit number you will find in the ‘award method’ section on your award letter. This is not your Family Fund number. Lost your letter please give us a call on 01904 550055.

To order in store games console packages can be redeemed in Argos or Currys/PC World. If the total bill is more than the amount on your card you must pay the difference before your card is swiped. You must only use the card to buy games consoles for your child. You can buy items when you need them, the whole amount does not have to be spent in one transaction and any money left on the card can be put towards extra accessories and games. However, the total amount of the grant must be used within six months of the date of your grant award letter. Please keep all your receipts for 12 months from the date you purchased your items as we may write and ask you for them.

To order online your games console grant can be used in either Argos or Amazon.

Using your card to buy your console online at Argos, simply visit www.argos.co.uk and add your chosen console to the online trolly. Choose either in store collection or home delivery. Sign in or register to your argos.co.uk account to continue your purchase. When you get to the payment page, input the card number in the 'Argos and flexecash gift card' section. As you enter the card number the page will change to request the relevant expiry and card security code.

Using your card to buy your console online at Amazon, please use the following steps to receive your ecode:

• Go to love2shop.co.uk/login
• Create a new personal account or log into your existing Love2shop personal account
• Go to ‘My Cards’ section
• Enter card number from your Love2shop card. The card will now be added to your account
• Choose the ‘Manage this card or code’ option
• Select to exchange your value for Amazon ecode
• processed the ecode will be able to be used instantly
• When checking out on Amazon, you must use the ecode in the ‘Other Payment options’ section. Enter the ecode number into the 'gift cards & promotional codes' section and continue with the order
