Ibstock Enovert Trust
Enovert
Ibstock Enovert Trust (formerly Ibstock Cory Environmental Trust) supports community and environmental not-for-profit projects that have as big a positive impact on the community as possible. These include improving community halls, the creation of new play areas, enhancement of sports facilities, and restoring green spaces. The Trust funds projects (up to £15,000 approximately), through the Landfill Community Fund, within ten miles of the Enovert Limited landfill sites (Greatness Quarry, Farm Road, Greatness, Sevenoaks, Kent TN14 5BP)
In line with the Landfill Tax Regulations, Ibstock Enovert Trust is able to support projects under the following categories, so please make sure that your project complies with one of the following objectives (‘Objects’):
Object A: Opening up access for the public to an area of land that has been closed or partially closed up to now.
Object B: Cleaning up land that has been polluted because of now ceased activity.
Object D: Helping to improve, protect, provide and/or maintain land or a building as a public amenity.
Object DA: Protecting the environment, and conserving or promoting biological diversity.
Object E: Helping to preserve, maintain, restore and/or repair a religious building or one of historical or architectural interest.
Applications must provide evidence of community need, that all permission and consents are in place and projects will be delivered within six months of receiving the grant.
Unlike other trusts offering the Landfill Communities Fund, Ibstock Enovert Trust does not require a Contributing Third Party payment, as this amount is covered by the two contributing companies, Ibstock Brick Limited and Enovert. Ibstock Enovert Trust will also register your organisation as an Environmental Body with fund regulator, ENTRUST, on your behalf.
Deadline: Continuous rolling programme. Applications are reviewed at Trustees Meeting held every four months. Decisions are received within one week of the meeting.
