The EA Foundation grants
EA Foundation
The EA Foundation is an independent charitable foundation registered in England and Wales. The EA Foundation supports a broad range of causes that improve the lives of individuals and communities around the world. Before submitting a request, please check your project or cause aligns to at least one of our funding priorities.
The EA Foundation has been established to provide funding to eligible organisations and projects which further the aims of the EA Foundation: -To provide educational opportunities for children, young people and adults, particularly from disadvantaged communities. -To improve access to basic services such as healthcare, clean water and electricity in disadvantaged communities. -To address poverty and financial hardship. -To tackle environmental challenges and promote sustainable development.
The EA Foundation supports projects around the world, with a particular focus on the least economically developed regions where the absolute need is greatest. Where we support organisations in the UK or other advanced economies we prioritise activities that have a strong international theme (e.g. support for refugees and asylum seekers).
The charity will provide grants to organisations within the UK and internationally. The trustees will consider applications against the grant-making policy of the EA Foundation.
The trustees of the EA Foundation are committed to ensuring all funds have a meaningful impact and represent a genuine charitable purpose. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate how their activities achieve these goals, including evidence of past impact where available. All grants will be made on the basis of a grant letter provided to the recipient which will set out the recipient’s obligations and the EA Foundations rights and expectations in relation to monitoring and reporting.
