Overview

Hylton House Trust Fund The main focus of Hylton House Trust Fund is to provide financial support to individuals with cerebral palsy or other neurological conditions.

What type of funding can you apply for? -Essential domestic equipment and appliances – this may include but is not limited to a cooker, fridge freezer or a washing machine. -Specialist equipment – this may include but is not limited to sensory equipment, communication devices, specialist car seat, adaptive tricycle, mobility aids. -Therapy – this may include but is not limited to speech and language therapy occupational therapy, physiotherapy, conductive education. The Fund cannot support items that have already been purchased.

Applications are received throughout the year. Size of Grant - Grants are typically up to £1,000.00.

Eligibility

Who can apply? Applications are invited from case workers, support workers, social workers, or other professionals working in related fields supporting client(s) with cerebral palsy or other neurological conditions. If, as an organisation, you are applying to Hylton House Trust Fund for the first time (on behalf of your client) you must provide a bank statement that clearly shows your organisation's name and bank details of the account into which the grant will be paid. To be eligible to apply, your client: • must be living in County Durham, Darlington, Gateshead, South Shields, Sunderland or Cleveland • should have a low income • should have exhausted all other sources of funding • must not have received funding from this source in the previous 12 months
