GIVE SMART MONTGOMERY

The Give Smart Montgomery Fund supports nonprofits providing programs or projects that address the categories of homelessness, mental health and/or substance abuse in regards to panhandlers in Montgomery County, Alabama.

Nonprofit organizations may submit a Give Smart Montgomery grant application for a maximum amount of $2,500. CACF will accept applications on a rolling basis beginning on August 1.

Grants/Funding are not awarded to:

• Individuals
• Annual fundraising drives, events or marketing campaigns
• Endowments
• Partisan political advocacy
• Regular operating support or capital projects
• Religious purposes (although we do support educational and social service programs offered by faith-based organizations)
• Research
• Sponsorship of fundraising events
• Start-up costs
