Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research Centers: 2024 Special Interest Project Competitive Supplements (SIPS)

This NOFO will provide supplemental funding to CDC Prevention Research Centers (PRCs) to conduct Special Interest Projects (SIPs). The purpose of the SIPs is to inform public health practice through high-quality applied health promotion and disease prevention public health research in real-world settings to identify, design, test, assess, evaluate, disseminate, and translate interventions (i.e. programs, practices, policies, or strategies) and tools or resources to prevent and reduce risk for the leading causes of illness, disability, and death in the United States. Applicants must be selected for funding under CDC Notice of Funding Opportunity RFA-DP-24-004 Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research Centers in order to apply for SIP supplemental funding under this announcement. The institution name, EIN, and UEI of the SIP applicant must match the information of the institution selected for funding under RFA-DP-24-004 as listed in the Notice of Award. Special eligibly may apply to each SIP that will be listed in the NOFO.
