Match Fund

Card Factory Foundation provide match-funding contributions for money raised by colleagues for charitable causes. Match funding is available to all colleagues who are directly employed by a Card Factory group company or an agency engaged by Card Factory.

Applicants must raise a minimum of £50 to be eligible for match funding and the maximum contribution for each successful application is £2,500. Applications for match funding beyond £2,500 shall be made at the discretion of the Charity Trustees.

OUR FUNDING PRIORITIES

• The Charity Trustees are keen to support activities that advance the Objects in an effective way. However, they recognise that a limited amount of funds is available to distribute each year. The Charity Trustees’ current funding priorities are:

• provide support, financial or otherwise towards hardship caused by life changing events; and

• provide support, financial or otherwise to projects that improve lives.

• The Charity Trustees will not normally support:

• . activities undertaken by public bodies or organisations contracted to carry out public services on their behalf

• projects with a political element

• mortgage payments, rental payments and other ordinary household running costs (unless arrears

• recreation travel for non-medical purposes

• projects which would, in the reasonable opinion of the Charities Trustees, harm the reputation of the Charity, or

• any non-charitable purpose
