Overview

The purpose of the KC Program is for Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) to provide direct victim services to child abuse survivors and their families through a multidisciplinary team approach. These services must include victim-centered, trauma-informed forensic interviews, advocacy, direct or referral to therapy/counseling, and referrals for medical exams.

Eligibility

Eligibility:

Eligible Applicants must work in conjunction with a CAC registered under the Children’s Advocacy Centers of California (CACC).

Grant Subaward Performance Period:

April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024

Available Funding:

Applicants may request up to $250,000 for the 12-month Grant Subaward performance period. Applicants located in suburban and rural counties may request up to $200,000 for the 12-month Grant Subaward performance period. See Attachment A for California Counties by Caucus.
